Acid Rain World FAV-A04 Sand Bunker Set by Toys Alliance

This is the next in line in the Field and Vehicle Series from Acid Rain World by Toys Alliance. These are again 1/18th scale and the amount of detail is extreme. Full of paint apps and weathering including texturing these figures are truly amazing. The set includes some big guns and is intended to add on for your FAV-A06 Sand Armored Trailer Set or used as stand alone for blockades. I think the ideal setup would be to have 2 full kits of these to fill your trailer and make a full overhead canopy as each set only include 2 of the “sandbags” as they are called and it take 4 total to make a full canopy to cover all of the trailer. Toys Alliance was kind enough to send us a couple extra “sandbags” to help produce bigger blockades and a full canopy for the FAV-A06 review coming up here soon.

Construction of temporary outposts and fortifications on desert terrains proved highly difficult, Sand TEs often removed protective armor from their vehicles to use as shields. In response, the military introduced light weight riot shields shaped like chevaux de frise called Portable Blast Shields (PB Shields). Soldiers nicknamed PB Shields “Sandbags”, which can be installed on Armored Trailers to improve defenses or used to build temporary “Bunkers”.

This also used a thick cardboard box for outside packaging. Inside contains a thick black base clam shell with a clear thick clam shell top. I also want to point out that thin pieces of plastic are often packed in the items as well to further protect the product. Very nice touches as always.

I know I normally deal in lines that have more mecha than what you have seen from this line so far but I have always like the idea of piloted robots such as Diaclone and Macross, as we get further into this line you will see how close this resembles some of these in those aspects but in a whole new diverse world of Acid Rain. I can understand why this is a highly successful line worldwide.

This set seems to really fill out the current FAV Series of several things it was missing including more firepower, manpower, and options. These are a great line to check out no matter where you start. This is Tec and until next time…
